Truth or Dare

TRUTH: Because Jesus went to the Cross to pay for our sins we are able to have eternal life with him. It doesn’t matter how many good deeds we do or if we are a “good” person or not—accepting Jesus’ sacrifice is all that matters for us to be right in God’s eyes.
DARE: Is that hard for you to believe—that the only way to forgiveness is through Jesus Christ? That no amount of good deeds or good intentions can get you into heaven? Stop for a minute and really consider this verse. Have you been trying to win God’s favor with good behavior and honorable works. Do you snub your nose at other people who couldn’t possibly deserve his salvation? How do you daily actions and attitudes reveal what you really believe?
“Brothers, understand what we are telling you: You can have forgiveness of your sins through Jesus. The law of Moses could not free you from your sins. But through Jesus everyone who believes is free from all sins.” Acts 13:38-39 NCV

5 Things We Love About Fall

Fall is just around the corner and at Revolve, we couldn’t be more excited. Here are a few things we love about fall!
1. The leaves changing in the trees.

2. Pretty pumpkins made into silly pumpkin faces.

3. Hot cocoa!

4. Mittens, jackets, scarves, and sweaters!

5. Oh, did we mention the leaves?

BUT, the best thing about the fall is knowing The Revolve Tour DREAM ON is getting closer and closer. Will you join us? Click here for more information on attending the Revolve event closest to you!
Love One Another

The journey to understand God’s love is long and winding—it takes an entire lifetime. And many people will doubt the truth before they believe it. But if we come at them with judgment or threats, they’ll never embrace his grace. Instead, we must show mercy as people struggle to grasp God’s great gift of salvation.
If your friends aren’t sure that they’re ready to commit to a life of following Christ, be patient. Pray with them on your own. Let them know you’re willing to answer any questions they have about loving God. Encourage them to come to church or read the Bible but don’t force them into anything they’re not ready for yet. Love them patiently, the way you’d want to be loved if you were still trying to figure it all out.
Show mercy to some people who have doubts. Jude 22 NCV

Happy Monday from your friends at The Revolve Tour! We don’t know about you, but today we are enjoying a well deserved break. Hooray!
Who can tell us what today is? If you guessed Labor Day then you are absolutely right!! Gold star for you!
For some people, Labor Day means a day off of school or work. For others, it marks the last day to rock your brightest white clothes. Yep, time to put those summer sandals away. We did a little research to find out why this day is so special.
Did you know:
- Labor Day was first celebrated on Tuesday, September 5, 1882, in New York City.
- The day is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers.
- This year, almost 150 million people in the American work force will observe Labor Day.
- Brazil and Lithuania have the most vacation days a year in the world! Whoa!
Did you just feel your brain getting bigger? Now, on to more fun stuff.
Tomorrow, on the blog, you will hear from Chad Eastham. He’s made a pretty special video just for you!
On Wednesday, let us know where you are for ‘Where Are You Wednesday?!’ There will be a special appearance from one of your favorite people.
There’s always something to ponder on Thoughtful Thursday, so check back.
Finally, Friday will feature a fun ‘Fab Five’.
