Turns out, I am the key to making myself miserable or not miserable. That’s that I have learned. I actually do have patience, but I can choose to throw it out the window. I can choose to be understanding, or I can close my mind. I can choose to enjoy moments when I’m sitting with others, or I can become self-centered. And that’s just the start. How I look at my friends, the opportunities I have in life, my job, the things that I have to get done- these don’t determine whether or not I’m happy. It’s not the things; it’s me.
