Everybody loves a good story . . . especially when it involves a teenage girl making a huge difference in the lives around her! Do you remember the true story about competitive teen surfer, Bethany Hamilton? She lost her arm in a shark attack and courageously overcame all odds to become a surfing champion —AGAIN! Not only did her determination inspire millions but so did her faith.

Bethany’s story is coming to the big screen on April 8, 2011! “My family and I are honored to be the subject of such an amazing film,” says Bethany.

“My hope is that the story continues to inspire people around the world to overcome the challenges that face them.”

This week on the Revolve blog . . .

Hello there! We hope you’ve enjoyed the new and improved Revolve Tour blog and Web site. There’s a lot of excitement in the air around here. How about that Revolve Tour: Dream on lineup? Ah-mazing. Who are you most excited to see? It’s hard to choose, isn’t it?

It’s really fun to see where you’re spending your time – summer school, vacation, the pool, Alaska, babysitting, chasing the ice cream truck, etc.

Revolve Tour Challenge – Week 8!

Guess what? Only two challenges left! It’s time for the eighth challenge. How have you done so far? We have seen some great pictures and comments coming from you girls. Excellent work.

Your challenge this week? Pretend you’re a speaker for The Revolve Tour. If you could share one specific thing to thousands of teen girls across the country, what would it be? Revolve Tour Challenge – Week 7!

Oh my goodness, it’s already time for the seventh challenge. This summer is flying by . . . make it stop!

Your challenge this week? Do something kind for your family! You know, family doesn’t necessarily mean blood relatives. Need some examples of what to do? Write your parents a sweet note, visit your grandmother, let your little sister borrow that new shirt of yours she loves so much, pray for them, clean up the house without being asked, hug your brother . . . The possibilities are endless.

Revolve Tour Challenge – Week 2!

Be thankful – and show it!!

Listen up, Revolve girls! It’s time for your second challenge. We all have people in our life who help us. Now is the perfect time to thank them for impacting you in a positive way. Grab a pen and some cute paper and send a handwritten ‘Thank You’ note to somebody in your life who deserves it. It can be a friend, teacher, sister, brother, parent, youth pastor, neighbor, co-worker, coach…..anybody!!!!

Don’t forget to take a picture of your card (you don’t have to show us what you wrote – of course, that can be kept private) and post it to our Facebook, Web site, or Twitter and let us know who you sent it to. There are no deadlines for completing each weekly challenge. However, you must have completed all 10 challenges by July 29 and have posted pictures and comments on our Facebook, Twitter, or Web site so we can pick a winner!! Pass this on to your friends. Anybody can play along!!

If you need a reminder of the rules, check back with Challenge #1. Thanks for playing!! We hope your summer has been fantastic so far!! We’ll be back next Thursday with a completely new challenge. Good luck!!!!!!!

Revolve Tour Challenge – Week 1!

All right, girls! We have something SUPER exciting to share and we want you to be a part of it all. (Hey, free swag is at stake here!) Here’s the deal:

For the next 10 weeks, we are going to present a fun ‘challenge’ to complete. These challenges will be sent through Facebook, Twitter, and Spin (the newsletter you’re reading now). Once you complete the weekly challenge, post your pictures and videos on your Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blog, etc. and make sure you share the link with us on Twitter (@therevolvetour) or The Revolve Tour Facebook page or the comments section below . . . just take your pick. We will keep track of those of you who complete every challenge. At the end of 10 weeks, we’ll draw a name from that group and give one lucky person a 2011 Revolve Tour bag, filled with goodies. (You’re going to love it!) When does this start? Now!!! The challenges will come weekly, through July 29. Get those creative brain cells going and…GOOD LUCK!!

Hi, girls!! How is your summer going so far? It’s time for another Revolve Tour Challenge!

Who’s ready for week 5? You’ve all done a great job so far and we are already halfway finished. The fifth challenge is… tell us all about your BFF! What do you love about them, how did you meet, what makes you laugh, how long have you been friends? Leave us a comment about your best friend and all the things you like about them.
