ARE YOU ENERGETIC AND ENJOY HELPING TEENS? This active and enthusiastic team helps the conference run smoothly by directing attendees to their seats and assisting with crowd control.
THIS POSITION MAY BE FOR YOU IF: This position requires you to follow directions, give great directions, work at a fast pace, and stand for extended periods of time. Must be at least 18 years of age. You may not have a seat in the arena, but may be able to hear some of the event during your breaks.
TIMES (MANDATORY): Friday 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Saturday 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
This includes a REQUIRED volunteer meeting on Friday at 4:00 pm;
training will be provided at that time.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Expect a variety of duties such as directing conference attendees to their seats as well as frequently used locations within the arena, i.e., Will Call, Lost and Found, restrooms, etc. Duties may also include reporting medical emergencies, ensuring crowd control on the concourse and in the arena, and general assistance while the conference is in session. Ushers help by making the overall event run smoothly and with limited distractions.
BENEFITS: You will receive 3 free tickets* for The Revolve Tour. You may leave the vouchers at Will Call for the girls to pick up on arrival at the event. You will also receive a box lunch on Saturday. *If you are planning on sitting with your teens while not volunteering you will need to use one of the 3 tickets for yourself.
BOX LUNCH: You will be provided with a box lunch on Saturday.
DRESS CODE: Please wear a black shirt and Khaki pants, Comfort is key for shoes!
ELIGIBILITY: Must be able to follow directions, be on your feet for an extended period of time, and be at least 18 years of age. Must be physically able to climb stairs if necessary.
TEENS ARRIVING WITH YOU: If you bring your teen(s) with you at 4:00 pm, they can wait in a chaperoned waiting room until the doors open at 5:30.
SEATING: There will be times when you are not working, you may sit with your teens at this time, but you will need to use one of the tickets for yourself.
FOOD: If you wish to purchase box lunches for the teens attending the event, you may do so by calling 877-9-REVOLVE. Arena concessions will be available during the event. Most arenas do not allow outside food or drinks to be brought in to the facility.
NO RE-ENTRY POLICY: Please note: For security reasons, The Revolve Tour has a no re-entry policy during the event, which includes the lunch break.
CANCELLATION: It is your important responsibility to contact us in case of cancellation. You are part of a team and not showing up for your commitment places additional work load on the other volunteers. Please notify the Volunteer Coordinator of your cancellation by email as soon as possible, but at least two weeks before the event. We understand life is ever-changing and in case of emergency cancellation, please contact us at 800-639-3333 or email volunteers@revolvetour.com.
